Since 2014, NEPAD and FAO are jointly facilitating a CAADP Nutrition task force composed of 35+ institutions (AU, NEPAD, RECs, UN agencies, NGOs, Universities, Donors) and country representatives (CAADP focal points, Farmer organizations, Civil Society mechanisms,…) aiming at:
- Strengthening the efforts in terms of advocacy and improving the nutrition governance at regional level ;
- Supporting the monitoring and evaluation at regional and country level ;
- Maximizing regional level learning ;
- Leveraging resources and coordinating support for agriculture-nutrition capacity development activities based on country needs.
