The Government of Japan, the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) are collaborating to implement a Project for the recovery and development of the agricultural sector in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA).
To review the progress of the said project, FAO organized a pre-inception meeting on 4 Sep-2015 at FAO Representative Office, Islamabad. The Embassy of Japan along with Mr. Takashi Harada, Counsellor, Embassy of Japan, Mr. Francisco Gamarro, Deputy FAO Representative to Pakistan and Mr. Nasar Hayat, Assistant FAO Representative (Programme, experts form JICA and FAO Office Peshawar also attended the pre-inception meeting.
