Ankara – A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and Bahçeşehir University (BAU) to collaborate in addressing the needs of future generations for better production, better nutrition, a better environment and a better life. Among its most important activities is the establishment of the new FAO & BAU Learning, Research and Application Platform 

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) is collaborating with the Regional Universities Forum for Capacity Building in Agriculture (RUFORUM) to strengthen the capacities of state and non-state actors to develop and implement public policies for family farming in Africa.

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in partnership with the Regional Universities Forum for Capacity Building in Agriculture (RUFORUM) and the University of Zambia (UNZA) will host a “Public Policy Cycles for Family Farming Training Program for State and Non-State Actors in Zambia” in Siavonga, Zambia from 25 – 29 April, 2022. The training will complement other capacity building efforts by various actors in the country for agricultural policy formulation for government officials, private sector, academia, among others.
