UN Partnering on FAO’s Better Nutrition in Tajikistan

The video displays a story of FAO partnering with WFP in Tajikistan on better nutrition. FAO jointly with WFP are implementing model on “School Food and Nutrition Program linked to the Agricultural Sector” with aim to improve sustainability and management of the National School Feeding Programme to increase supply of diverse and nutritious foods. Under pilot FAO establishment of school gardens, in particular cold frames/seedbeds and implementing production in the kitchen gardens, to complement the food consumption and nutritional needs of schoolchildren and local communities around them.
