FAO celebrates the success of a virtual South-South cooperation capacity building initiative

Resource Partners represented at the meeting included: Belgium, Flanders, France, Ireland, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden and Switzerland. 08 June 2021, Philippines – The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the Government of the Republic of Korea, through the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (MAFRA) have launched today an initiative aimed at strengthening the Philippines’ rice value chains and help boost the productivity of smallholder Filipino rice farmers.
In a virtual inception workshop, FAO, MAFRA and Philippine project partners launched and discussed ways forward for the implementation in the country of the “Capacity Development and Experience sharing for Rice Value Chains through South-South and Triangular Cooperation (SSTC)”, a global initiative funded by the...
