This national association is mandated to deal with policies that affect pastoralists and just months ago they tried to stop an unsupportive Act in the parliament before ratification. They have tried to build a livestock market in the vicinity of Tehran for economic improvement of pastoralists. The land is under allocation to them. They are working to strengthen their network to have more power to pass good acts and guidelines for the pastoralists.
