| The aim of the Family day is to help children and their parents interactively learn about plant health in relation to agriculture and forestry. On a central stage at the lobby events will be announced. Open microphone and live music will be available. Around the atrium eleven stops will be situated containing 3D installations showing plants, trees and gigantic insects. Each stop will have its own name displayed next to it. Throughout the day staff will welcome and educate visitors, oversee games and other activities about plant health and related topics. Small prizes (stickers, pencils, rulers, notebooks, keychains, etc.) will be provided during the family day events. Booklets, fact sheets, information materials will be created and issued. Throughout the day in the lecture room gardening experts will deliver lectures. |
