This year, the Government of Jalisco launched the Agency for Health, Safety and Agri-food Quality (ASICA). 

With the creation of ASICA Jalisco will be able to inspect and overlook the agri-food sector to ensure compliance with the Agri-food Law, in which the following seven components are key:

-Quality

-Health

-Social Responsibility

-Food Safety

-Animal Welfare

-Sustainability and Environmental Health

-Agri-food traceability

It is also very important to mention that one of the main activities we develop in the Agency is strenghtening the constant monitoring to protect plants and ensure plant health.
