16.00 - 17.00 hrs CET - Virtual event

The report National and subnational food systems multi-stakeholder mechanisms (SFS MSMs): an assessment of experiences was launched in October 2021. Its findings illustrate how such mechanisms can effectively contribute to holistic policy-making towards food systems transformation.

Through cases from different world regions, this webinar will discuss how existing SFS MSMs were and are being leveraged by different countries for the UN Food Systems Summit outcomes, including the Summit’s Dialogues and the implementation of the National Pathways that were shaped by over 100 Member States.

The event is jointly organized by UNEP, WWF, the Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT, FAO, Costa Rica, Switzerland, the CPLP’s Territorial Food Systems Coalition, and the wider OPN SFSP Community of Practice. This webinar is held as an affiliated session at the WEF virtual meeting “Bold Actions for Food - Regional and Country Flagships”.
