“Fruits and vegetables for human development: let’s take action!”

On the occasion of the International Year of Fruits and Vegetables (IYFV) proclaimed by the UN General Assembly, the European Food Banks Federation (FEBA), in collaboration with Italmercati, organised the webinar “Fruits and vegetables for human development: let’s take action!”.

This event intentionally comes after two important meetings, Macfrut 2021 in Rimini (Italy) in September and Fruit Attraction 2021 in Madrid (Spain) in October, in which FEBA and Italmercati raised awareness and shared examples of good practices aiming to enhance the discuss on the importance of fruit and vegetables and foster the recovery and redistribution for the nutrition and healthy development of the people, especially the most vulnerable groups. 

The webinar “Fruits and vegetables for human development: let’s take action!” has the objective of reuniting distinguished stakeholders, highlighting the key points faced during the International Year of Fruits and Vegetables, and launching a concrete call to action for the next years.
