The Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) has been funding programs on postharvest management (PHM) in Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) since 2008, following its successful POSTCOSECHA program in Central America that led to the adoption of metal silos for grain storage by more than 400’000 smallholders’ households. The Global Programme Food Security Division (GPFS) of SDC had launched a PHM umbrella program including several projects to complement the synergies within SDC in postharvest food loss reduction issues in SSA. Five programs were running under this umbrella, one of which ended in 2016.

GPFS decided to fund a « Capitalization of Experiences” (CAPEX) as a learning exercise to compile and to analyse the key insights, lessons learned, identified factors of success or failure of projects under the PHM umbrella in SSA. The CAPEX exercise will culminate in a learning event at the end of October. The CAPEX Team is now running an online survey to gain insight from the members of the Community of Practice (CoP).

We thank you in advance for participating to the survey. Please take 20 minutes to answer the survey. All filled questionnaires will participate to a lucky draw!

Please send an e-mail to the CoP coordinator if you have not received the link to fill the survey.
