Launch of the E-learning course on Food Loss Analysis

In FAO HQ (Rome, Italy) an official event has presented to the public the newly published E-learning course on Food Loss Analysis, an output of the joint UN Rome-based agencies (RBA) project on "Mainstreaming food loss reduction solutions for smallholder farmers in food deficit areas".

RBA officers involved in the project gathered together with Anna Lartey, Director of the Nutrition and Food Systems division, and Marcela Villarreal, Director of the Partnerships and South-Sourth Cooperation division; at the presence of Mr Francois Pythoud Ambassador, Permanent Representation of Switzerland to FAO, IFAD and WFP, to emphasize the value of this new tool, a public good made availble to a broad audience through the FAO E-learning Centre.
