Study on the State of Agriculture in the Caribbean Region
Strategic investments in the agriculture sector are a catalyst for sustainable, economic growth and poverty reduction. Through their partnership, the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) have produced this comprehensive study on the State of Agriculture in the Caribbean, drawing upon decades of research on the many drivers of change affecting the CDB’s Borrowing Member Countries (BMCs), including international trade, institutional policies, and climate change.

Appui à la création d’observatoires des agricultures du monde au Sénégal et en Tunisie
Les exploitations agricoles font l’objet d’analyses statutaires et structurelles classiques qui ne permettent pas de rendre compte de la diversité de ces systèmes de production, encore moins de leurs spécificités et des disparités régionales. Au Sénégal comme en Tunisie, les institutions chargées de la collecte des données, de la formulation et de l’analyse des politiques ne disposent pas encore d’une connaissance fine et de référentiels de la diversité des exploitations agricoles et de leurs transformations. Linking Nationally Determined Contributions and the Sustainable Development Goals through agriculture . A methodological framework
This paper identifies potential “climate action-sustainable development pathways” spanning 17 major agricultural climate action categories and the 17 SDG targets. The aim of this mapping exercise is to explore the extent to which the two agendas are aligned for the prioritization of those climate actions that have the potential to co-deliver on the Paris Agreement and 2030 Agenda. Strengthening food security and nutrition in South Asia
Large numbers of people in the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) region suffer from hunger and malnutrition, with recent estimates indicating that 14.9 percent of the people in the region suffer from hunger or undernourishment. There is also a continued high incidence of malnutrition. In the context of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, new strategies are required to achieve the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG2) of eliminating hunger and malnutrition by 2030.
