International Code of Conduct on Pesticide Management. Guidelines for personal protection when handling and applying pesticides
These guidelines are intended to provide guidance on pesticide risk reduction through reduced exposure by effective personal protection with special attention to the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). First, they provide technical information on personal protection and on the selection and use of PPE. Second, in line with the FAO/WHO International Code of Conduct on Pesticide Management, they address policy issues and recommend measures to improve personal protection and specifically the use and availability of adequate quality and affordable PPE.

LSIPT Livestock Sector Investment and Policy Toolkit. Making responsible decisions
The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), together with the World Bank, the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) and the French Agricultural Research Centre for International Development (CIRAD), have developed the Livestock Sector Investment and Policy Toolkit (LSIPT) toolkit to support teams and decision-makers to increase and improve policies and livestock investments that contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. The toolkit enables a shift from the traditional approach centred on livestock production to one that focuses on households and human well-being with the goal of poverty reduction.

Le projet «Renforcement des capacités de planification de l'adaptation pour la sécurité alimentaire et la nutrition» au Sénégal est un projet de collaboration multi-acteurs développé par la FAO et le gouvernement du Québec avec le soutien du gouvernement du Sénégal. L'objectif principal de ce projet, qui intervient dans deux pays francophones, Haïti et le Sénégal, est de renforcer la résilience des secteurs agricoles face au changement climatique pour la sécurité alimentaire et la nutrition.

This technical guidance brief summarizes some of the current thinking on how livestock can address the nutritional needs of vulnerable households and groups. It outlines recommendations for designing and implementing livestock interventions to leverage nutrition outcomes.
It is intended for use by programme planners and managers working for government, humanitarian and development agencies involved in designing and implementing livestock-related policies and programmes, with the objective of helping in integration of nutrition outcomes in their work. Unlocking future investments in Uganda’s commercial forest sector. Understanding the impacts of timber trade restrictions on the profitability of pine plantation and sawmill investments
As a result of the Government of Uganda’s forward thinking policies to create a commercial forestry sector in the early 2000’s, it is 20 years ahead of its neighbors in terms of the sector’s development. It now must implement policies to sustain to the sector, and enable it to help meet the rapidly growing demand for timber and other wood products in the region, and beyond. This depends fundamentally on enabling producers and processors to easily access to external timber markets.

Food Price Monitoring and Analysis (FPMA) Tool
The Food Price Monitoring and Analysis (FPMA) Tool was developed in the wake of the international food price crisis of 2007 and 2008 for dissemination and analysis of domestic and international commodity price data collated by Global Information and Early Warning System (GIEWS). The FPMA Tool provides easy access to data allowing users to quickly browse and analyse trends, serving as a basis for GIEWS analysis, including the FPMA monthly report and website.
