Port-Lex
The Database on Port State Measures (Port-Lex) provides access to port state measures (PSM) adopted by states to prevent, deter and eliminate illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing (IUU fishing). Information can be accessed through a simple word search or advanced search using country names or measure components.
The main objective of the database is to make information available to policy-makers, national administrations, legal practitioners and civil society members worldwide. By making available “best practices”, the database will contribute to national capacity-building toward adoption and implementation of PSM to fight against IUU fishing, and help countries and RFMOs coordinate their efforts when adopting and implementing PSM.
