In 2024, the Voluntary Guidelines to support the progressive realization of the right to adequate food in the context of national food security (RTFG) turn 20!

In our complex world with ever-growing and changing challenges, the Guidelines are as relevant as ever. They remind us of the importance of international cooperation and collaboration towards the collective public good of ending hunger, malnutrition in all its forms, poverty and inequality.

To mark this important milestone, the FSN Forum – FAO’s open, neutral platform for multistakeholder dialogue − opened a call for submissions to help inform on the progress towards the realization of the right to adequate food at local, national, regional and global level, providing an important stocktaking moment for countries and their people.
