Leader Child Agriculture Camp

The camp is an annual event organized by the Republic of Turkey, the Ministry of Food, Agriculture & Livestock, in 81 provinces of Turkey. This year, the theme is “2016 International Year of Pulses”. The students will go on field trips, carry out experiments, make observations and have lectures in order to raise awareness of the benefits of pulses and highlight the importance of pulses in alleviating global hunger, improving food security and environmental sustainability. They will write an assay on "The Importance of legumes in agriculture and our diets ". Each province will choose their candidate. The winner will be awarded by the Ministry.
