Join us as we reflect on the FAO/OECD event:
Commodity Markets, Trade and Forests: Advancing Responsible Business Conduct in Agricultural Supply Chains
Featuring the launch of the OECD-FAO Business Handbook on Deforestation and Due Diligence in Agricultural Supply Chains
Time and date: Thursday, 16 November, 10:00 - 12:00 (CET)
During the event, we engaged in a dynamic panel discussion, delving into recent trends in responsible business conduct within agricultural supply chains, particularly focusing on the intricate relationship between commodity markets, trade, and forests. Our distinguished panelists, including FAO Directors Zhimin Wu (Forestry) and Boubaker Ben-Belhassen (Markets and Trade), as well as Allan Jorgensen, the Head of the OECD Centre for Responsible Business Conduct, shared valuable insights. We also had the privilege of hearing from representatives of the World Resources Institute (WRI), Ferrero, Ghana’s Forestry Commission, Golden Agri-Resources (GAR) Indonesia, and the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
