Within the framework of the Mediterranean Animal Health Network (REMESA) activities, the coordination Unit of the REMESA, with the collaboration of the Algerian Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, will organize the 3^rd meeting of the Joint Permanent Committee (JPC) of the REMESA in Algiers on the 1^st and 2^nd February 2011.

The main objectives of this meeting are to review the institutional, operational and financial arrangements as well as the present and future REMESA activities. This meeting should bring together the Chiefs Veterinaries Officers (CVOs) from the ten REMESA countries (Mauritania, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Portugal, Spain, France and Italy) as well as representative of EC, FAO, OIE and UMA.
