Branching out: Youth Action and Entrepreneurship in Agroforestry for Economic and Environmental Impact

Youth-led agroforestry

Hybrid Event, 18/10/2023

The Mediterranean Youth Task Force partnered with the International Forestry Students' Association (IFSA) to organize a World Food Forum side event focusing on youth-led agroforestry practices.

The panel discussion will serve as a platform for young agro-foresters to exchange their experiences, address challenges, and offer recommendations. Additionally, it will highlight a wide range of global initiatives, successful cases, and best practices that are reshaping conventional farming and forest-based methods, all while fostering socioeconomic opportunities.

The side event will be held in a hybrid modality. Participants may join in person at FAO Headquarters (German Room) or online via zoom. In both cases, they need to register to the WFF flagship event here.
