“Essence” stands for Expert Search Semantic ENriChmEnt and is a web tool developed by the FAO Data Lab that automatizes searching for scientific articles and identifies the most relevant ones through the use of artificial intelligence (AI). The AI method learns and extends users’ previous selections by recognizing patterns in their texts.
