FAO has recently launched the FAO SDG Progress Assessment App: a web-based tool designed to automatize the assessment of progress made at the national, regional, and global level towards the achievement of the SDGs. The developed tool allows measuring the current status and trend of SDG Indicators and Targets based on the FAO progress assessment methodology.

FAO, in collaboration with UNSD, hosted a webinar on Thursday 4 May 2023 to gather feedback on the developed application and proposed approach, and discuss possible extensions and future developments, as well as opportunities for collaboration across UN system entities.
