Virtual Training on SDG Indicator 2.4.1. “Proportion of Agricultural Area under Productive and Sustainable Agriculture”, Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS)

The overall objective of this virtual training was to provide officials from the Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS) capacity development on the methodology, data collection and analysis relevant to sustainable food and agriculture and how to assess data gaps starting from available national and subnational (farm-level) information and associated reporting processes.
This special training focused on the analysis, through STATA tool, of data collected during the pilot test in Bangladesh to construct the 11 sub-indicators of the SDG 2.4.1.
This indicator measures progress in achieving more productive and sustainable agriculture. It is made up of relevant sub-indicators that will provide governments with strategic information for evidence based policies.
