For Indian National Trade Union Congress democracy means our Women Working in Agriculture Fields should definitely be recognised as Farm Workers and it’s shocking to hear that Non-Unionised Female Workers are Earning only 70% for Every 100% A Male Worker Earns.

Due to Unionisation Initially We were Very Excited when our Union Members Started getting Better Wages and Better Welfare and At the Same time We Realised and were Saddened because we realised how much we have been Cheated and Missed our Fair Share of Wages and how badly the Government Machinery Failed us and Pushed Us down the Poverty.

1. Indian National Trade Union Congress & it’s Affiliate Unions have been lobbying & advocacy for policies and practices that promote decent work in agriculture and food sectors, ensuring fair wages, safe working conditions, and job security for workers. By fostering economic growth in these sectors, Trade Unions have been contributing to reduce poverty and hunger (SDG-2)
2. Indian National Trade Union Congress plays a vital role in advocating for sustainable agricultural practices and technological innovations that improve food production,efficiency, reduce waste, Efficient Food Distribution and Storage and enhance resilience to climate change. Collaboration between Agriculture Unions and Farm Producing Organisations and Industries that can drive investments in sustainable infrastructure for food production and distribution.
3. Indian National Trade Union Congress Engages its Union Members in Capacity Building and Leadership Development Training and Education Programs to Empower Leadership among Workers and specifically Women Workers and Farm Producing Communities to adopt sustainable practices in Food Production, Consumption, and Waste Management.
