Cocoa and Coffee Value Chains in West and Central Africa: Constraints and Options for Revenue-Raising Diversification

This study examines the coffee and cocoa value chains in ten West and Central African countries, namely Cameroon, the Central African Republic (CAR), the Demoratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Liberia, Nigeria Sao Tomé and Principe (STP), Sierra Leone, and Togo. Based on this analysis, the study identifies the opportunities and recommendations for the diversification and development of these value chains as well as actions for the sustainable implementation of these recommendations.
