The paper reports on the value chain of the medicinal and aromatic plants (MAP) in Albania. It provides information on collectors and farmers of MAPs, markets both national and importantly international, prices, the policy environment, the natural environment and gender issues. It identifies strengths and weaknesses as well as opportunities and constraints to the sector's development.
