This case study explores the reasons for the decline of Cameroon's cocoa sector through investigating both the internal factors within the sector (its structure, value chain, market, production, vulnerability, etc.) and the sector's enabling environment (macroeconomic, institutional, and policies). Guidance is provided on how to improve the sector's competitiveness.
