The paper provides a comparative analysis of the development of the palm oil subsectors in Malaysia and Ghana. The purpose of the study was to explore the key factors that contributed to successfully developing the subsectors and the factors that affected their development pathways. The paper also investigates the reasons behind the differing development pathways for the palm oil subsectors in Malaysia and Ghana.
