This paper presents a case study on the development of the Robusta coffee industry in Viet Nam. The paper focuses on the key factors that have influenced the growth of the subsector as well as the social and environmental aspects of this growth. The paper also highlights diversification as a strategy for coffee farmers to reduce future risks.
