This report presents a thorough analysis of the shrimp and prawn value chain in Bangladesh. The report adopts a gender value chain analysis and pro-poor livelihood approach to examine the social and environmental impacts along the value chain in order to suggest recommendations for maximizing opportunities for the vulnerable within this value chain.
