Plantwise,  conceived and led by CABI, is a global alliance of donors and other partners ready to provide either content support for the knowledge bank (content partners) or diagnostic services support (clinical partners). The aim of Plantwise is to provide poor farmers in developing countries with better access to the advice and information needed to help them increase food security and improve their livelihoods by losing less of what they grow due to plant health problems. This will be achieved through expansion of the existing plant clinic network established by CABI and supported by the creation of a global knowledge bank of information on plant health, pests and diseases.
