This report by the World Bank Group is responding to the fact that current levels of investment in agricultural value chains are insufficient to achive the Sustainable Development Goals. The four sections of the paper focus on the development outcomes sought; why financing is important, including financing needs, the financing landscape, and constraints; actions to maximize finance for development; and implementation.
