The report looks at the value chains of goat and sheep meat in India with the purpose of identifying approaches and practices of small ruminants rearing and commercialization that can create more opportunities, value addition and access to markets for smallholder livestock owners. A particular focus is taken on the optimal utilization of by-products which are often wasted in these value chains.
