The AGRI Index represents the first attempt at producing a cross-country benchmarking tool to measure the legal, regulatory, and institutional barriers faced by agribusinesses. The AGRI Index can assist governments, donors, and private companies by providing objective, comparable measures of the regulatory and administrative processes agribusinesses must routinely undertake.
