This study of the rice value chain in Ghana is one of five country studies that feed into a major regional study on rice value chains in West Africa in the post-2008 rice price crisis context. The study covers end-markets, chain analysis, supporting markets, opportunities and incentives for upgrading, and national rice value chain development strategy recommendations.
