AgriFin is an initiative supported by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and managed by the World Bank that aims to increase access to financial services for farmers and agribusinesses. This year, the AgriFin annual forum will take place from 11 to 15 May 2015 in Istanbul, Turkey, and will be focused on opportunities for banks to use agricultural value chains to facilitate and expand lending to agriculture in a profitable and secure manner. The forum will feature a series of in-depth presentations, panels and discussions by leading banks and agricultural finance professionals from across the world as well as an optional field visit to see innovative lending techniques along major agricultural value chains in Turkey.
