The conference will be organized by the International Cooperation Centre of Agricultural Research for Development (CIRAD) from 12 to 14 December 2016 in Montpellier, France and will discuss the role of agricultural value chains in implementing global and local frameworks and partnerships for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Debates will be devoted to: i) performance and evaluation of agricultural value chains with respect to the SDGs; ii) innovations and partnerships for transforming or establishing value chains; and iii) regulations for rebuilding public and collective action at different scales in support of the SDGs.
