Author(s) Espinoza, A. & Wiggins, S.
Year of publication 2016
Various cash-for-work programmes have been implemented in Peru to promote sustainable land management and agroforestry practices. These programmes provide financial incentives to indigenous and local communities to engage in activities such as reforestation, agroforestry system establishment and forest protection. The National Direct Support Program for the Poorest – UNTOS, Programa Trabaja Perú, is a good example.
