The Seminar on Environmentally Sound Forest Roads and Wood Transport was held in Sinaia, Romania, at the invitation of the Government of Romania. The Seminar was held from 17 to 22 June 1996. One hundred and four participants from the following 22 countries attended: Albania, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Croatia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland, United Kingdom, and United States of America. This document is the final report of the seminar.
