Cambodia - National Forest Programme (2010-2029)

The ultimate goal of the NFP is to establish a policy framework and strategy for sustainable management of the country’s valuable forest resources. This document, with detailed action plans and means of implementation based on participatory approach, clearly identifies the forestry approaches and activities that need to be aggressively undertaken in the forest sector for the period 2010-2029. It is our firm belief that the implementation of National Forest Programme with active participation and cooperation of all stakeholders concerned, will significantly contribute tosustainable management of forest resources through forest resource conservation, good governance, socio-economic development and poverty reduction.
