HSE is the national independent watchdog for work-related health, safety and illness. It is an independent regulator and act in the public interest to reduce work-related death and serious injury across Great Britain's workplaces. The HSE's work covers a varied range of activities; from shaping and reviewing regulations, producing research and statistics and enforcing the law. There is a section of the site specifically dedicated to forestry operations as they are quite risky activities.
