This manual aims at providing a core curriculum on topics related to wildlife diseases and surveillance with a view to facilitating an interactive working session for participants. The training manual contains presentations which are followed by a by a two-hour session during which participants work in small groups to consider the elements of wildlife disease surveillance programmes and design such programmes for their own countries.
