This watershed management guidebook from the western United States is the result of more than 20 years of applied research and practice in watershed management. It follows a stepwise outcome-based management process and presents a set of principles, practices and tools for the management of disturbed watersheds. The tools can be used individually or as a coherent package by land managers, restoration practitioners, field staff, and others involved in watershed assessment, treatment and monitoring.
