Fitting the job to the forest worker - An illustrated training manual on ergonomics

Year of publication 1992
This book is an illustrated manual which deals with ergonomics in forestry. The book shows how applied ergonomic research, in close cooperation between scientists and industry, can result in very significant progress for companies and workers alike. It shows also how improvement of working conditions and productivity can go hand in hand. The aim is to teach forest workers proper behaviors in order to reduce risks in forest operations and to prevent or minimize accidents and/or illness derived by such hazardous working conditions.
