Health and safety executive
HSE is the national independent watchdog for work-related health, safety and illness. It is an independent regulator and act in the public interest to reduce work-related death and serious injury across Great Britain's workplaces. The HSE's work covers a varied range of activities; from shaping and reviewing regulations, producing research and statistics and enforcing the law. There is a section of the site specifically dedicated to forestry operations as they are quite risky activities. From the left sided menu, it is possible to explore a specific topic out of a certain number (such as: tree planting, tree climbing, chainsaw, working with machinery, etc.). Inside of every section is also possible to download free manuals.
