A hybrid workshop will be held on 8-9 September 2022 to provide government officials with a better understanding of climate action and the related role of countries and FAO. Participants will receive a synopsis of international climate change negotiations as a basis for national action for COP27. The workshop also aims to improve understanding and knowledge of the Enhanced Transparency Framework (ETF), and support countries in their efforts to improve institutional frameworks and in preparation of the first Biennial Transparency Report (BTR).

Participants will have an opportunity to listen to representatives from UNFCCC and PATPA, work in groups and enhance their knowledge of FAO’s tools for climate action.

The workshop will be held in English with simultaneous interpretation in Russian and Turkish.
