The employment fair organized within the scope of two projects will be held in İzmir, on Thursday 7 November 2019. The projects are conducted by partnership of FAO and the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. One of them is the 'Increase Self-Reliance and Improve Agricultural Livelihoods of Refugees through Employment Opportunities Project (Phase III)', which is financed by the EU and the Republic of Turkey. The project is also coordinated by the General Directorate of Migration Management and implemented by UNHCR. The other project is 'Strengthening Livelihoods of Syrians Under Temporary Protection and Host Communities through Skills Trainings and Production Tools' project, which is funded by the Government of Japan.

The attendees of the fair will include: representatives from FAO, the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, and İzmir Provincial Directorate of Agriculture, as well as project stakeholders, representatives from the private sector, and project trainees.
