In 2010, the City of Baltimore launched the Baltimore Food Policy Initiative (BFPI). This formal collaboration between municipal agencies led to the creation of a wide network of actors working across Baltimore’s food system. Along with a resident advisory group, they design and implement solutions to guarantee access to healthy and affordable food for all.
