Shanghai: a ranking system for food safety
2018
In 2013, the City of Shanghai established a new set of food safety regulations that were accompanied by punitive measures and a ranking system of food operators. The ranking system, entitled “Food Safety Credit System”, is a classification of food enterprises based on risk evaluation. The scores assigned to each operator have been incorporated into an online platform that is accessible to all.
