COVID-19 Resources and shared practices for Food Policy Councils (FPCs)

Johns Hopkins Center for a Livable Future’s Food Policy Networks project has compiled a list of resources, models/examples, funding, and other shared practices in COVID-19 response useful for food policy councils and other groups working at the local and state level. The resources focus on: 1_FPCs’ roles of convening, collaborating and communicating about their local food systems (e.g., sharing communications from FPCs about COVID-19, virtual convening resources, data collection tools and examples); 2_Food policy recommendations related to COVID-19; 3_Supporting communities (e.g., mutual aid and healing, emergency food distribution, community gardens, volunteers and food safety, food resiliency); 4_Supporting food businesses and workers (e.g., farmers markets, local farms, virtual local food platforms, etc.).
